Student Accounts at The Care Courses School

Every day we talk to childcare providers who want to take courses for their CDA or annual state training. We’re always happy to help our students get started, and we want to help everyone be as comfortable with their computer as possible. Here’s some good news: if you found this blog, then you can set up a student account on our website – especially because we’re going to walk you through it, step by step!

One thing to remember: if you’ve taken one of our courses in the past, then you already have a student account even if your email address isn't in it yet! To help you access it, we need to hear from you, so we can show you how to access it. You can reach us at 1-800-865-7610 from 9-5 ET, Monday through Friday. You can also ask us for help via email days, evenings and weekends. We are happy to help!

Now if you’re just getting started with us and haven't ever taken a course before, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit our home page.

This is easy – it’s

Step 2: Click “Create Account” in the upper right-hand corner

It’s next to a little padlock icon, right here:

Then you'll see a page that looks like this:

Click the yellow button in the “New Customers” box that says, “Create Account.”

Step 3: Add Your Information

This will take you to the “Create New Account” screen. You’ll see a bunch of different blank spaces here that you can fill in. Enter your name with First, Middle and Last name exactly the way you want it to appear on your orders and certificates:

Make sure you use an email address that you can access – use your own personal email, rather than your director’s, your sister’s, or your spouse’s. We’ll explain why in detail in a later post, but for now, just know that it’s best to use your email because that will make it easy for you to use your student account.

If you don’t have a personal email, there are tons of great free email services out there, like Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo, which are free and easy to set up.

Once you’re finished, click “Next” at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4: The Pop-Up

A little Pop-Up box will appear, and it looks like this:

This gives you the chance to make changes by clicking “Make Changes.” Once you’re satisfied, click “Create Account.”

Step 5: Hooray!

… and you’re finished! Now you’ll see a screen like this:

This welcome screen means you’re logged in to your account. From here you can check out your course history, see orders you’ve placed, and update your address information. For more details about how your account works, check out this post [link to parallel post].

Need help? Call our friendly team at 1-800-865-7610 from 9-5 ET, or email days, evenings and weekends at I know we already said this once before, and that's because we really are here for you! We’re happy to help!
