Training for Oregon Child Care Providers

Hello Oregon child care providers!

I want to take some time to share how Care Courses can help you with your training needs.

All of our courses can be used towards annual training requirements for day care staff and directors. Our courses are also accepted for Oregon Registry Steps 1-7.

Many Oregon child care providers need training hours in a specific Core of Knowledge Category. To search hours by a specific topic, check out our Oregon’s Core of Knowledge Category description pages.  When you successfully complete a Care Course, the Core of Knowledge Categories can be seen on the official certificate.

Oregon child care providers who are pursuing their national CDAs may also use Care Courses.   For instance, our training can be used to obtain a national CDA. We offer training for all four CDA settings:

  • Family Child Care
  • Infant and Toddler Center-Based
  • Preschool Center-Based
  • Home Visitor

If you want more information about the CDA process, check out our free tutorial, CDA 101: A Practical Guide to Understanding the CDA Process.

Care Courses is also an approved training provider for the renewal of the National Administrator Credential, also referred to as NAC. If you are interested in using our courses to renew your NAC, please first look at the list of approved courses for NAC Training.

If you’re in Oregon and don’t see your requirements listed here, give us a call. We will be happy to assist with any additional training needs.

Please let us know how we can be of additional assistance! Call us at 1-800-685-7610, Monday- Friday, 9-5 ET, or email us days, evenings and weekends: We’re here to help!
