How do I Get Oklahoma Training Hours?

Hel­lo! Are you look­ing for Okla­homa train­ing hours?

All Care Cours­es are approved by the Okla­homa Pro­fes­sion­al Devel­op­ment Reg­istry (OPDR) and accept­ed by the Okla­homa Depart­ment of Human Ser­vices for ongo­ing train­ing hour require­ments for those who work in:

  • child care centers;
  • part day children’s programs;
  • school age programs;
  • sum­mer day camps;
  • fam­i­ly child care homes;
  • large fam­i­ly child care homes; and
  • res­i­den­tial child care facilities.

This includes pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment clock hours for direc­tors, pro­gram direc­tors, admin­is­tra­tors, social ser­vices staff, child care staff, teach­ers, mas­ter teach­ers, lead teach­ers, assis­tant teach­ers, pri­ma­ry care­givers, per­ma­nent sub­sti­tutes and volunteers.

Care Cours­es is an OPDR approved train­ing orga­ni­za­tion. All Care Cours­es that are 2 clock hours or more grant for­mal pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment clock hours with the Okla­homa Cen­ter For Ear­ly Child­hood Pro­fes­sion­al Devel­op­ment (CECPD) reg­istry. Cours­es that offer less than 2 clock hours count as infor­mal pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment with the OPDR. Ready to com­plete your train­ing hours? See our online course cat­a­log to get started!

Need to have your course submitted to the Oklahoma registry?

Add your Okla­homa reg­istry ID to your Care Cours­es account. We will report your train­ing to the Okla­homa reg­istry so you get cred­it for your Okla­homa train­ing hours. In most cas­es, Okla­homa requires that we sub­mit train­ing to the OPDR before we can release your certificate. 

So, make sure to add your ID to your account! Once your Reg­istry ID num­ber is in your account, we will auto­mat­i­cal­ly report all future suc­cess­ful­ly com­plet­ed cours­es to the OK registry.

In addi­tion, Care Cours­es are an excel­lent option for the Okla­homa safe sleep train­ing require­ment as well Okla­homa CDA and CDA renew­al train­ing!
